At Classic Fly Fishing Adventures we are excited to work with you to plan your memorable outing. Steven is an experienced guide, and local resident who the knows the in’s and out’s of the waters like no one else. Half day and full day adventures are available and can be customized to meet your individual needs.
We are committed to protecting our natural ecosystem and are 100% catch and release. Ensuring that ethical fish handling techniques are always used allows us to preserve these amazing environments for future generations. We pride ourselves in our “leave no trace” ethic, and strive to leave the area better than we found it. We are excited to share this pristine wilderness with you and help to foster a love and appreciation of the natural wonders of our own backyard.
BOOKING A TRIP
When you are ready to book your experience simply email email@example.com with a requested date. Guiding opportunities are available from the beginning of May to October 1st. Please note that trips booked at the end of September may be impacted by the trout reproductive cycle as they are setting up Redds during this time in preparation for spawning.
All bookings require a 50% deposit at time of booking (payable by e-transfer or by debit or credit at Reid’s Fly Shop). Please refer to our cancellation policy below for specific information about cancellations. Prior to your trip, we require a completed Assumption of Risk and Release from Liability Agreement. Half Day Trips (4 hours) – $275 ($325 as of January 1, 2020)
ADD AN EXTRA PERSON TO HALF DAY GUIDED EXPERIENCES FOR $75.
Grab your favourite rod and waders and join us for four hours of fun and excitement! Included in the fee is access to leaders, tippets and an extensive fly selection all customized for the waters we fish. Don’t have a rod? We’ve got you covered with beautiful, well-maintained equipment. We are proud to feature the iconic Peetz Reels on all of our rods. These beautiful reels are hand turned in Victoria, British Columbia and are sure to make a statement in your photos. Water, snacks and non-alcoholic drinks are also provided during our outing. These trips are great primers for early in the season or for those who are new to fly fishing. We will work with you to build skill in your technique and improve your ability to read the water in search of the next big fish!
Full Day Trips (8 hours) – $475 ($550 as of January 1, 2020)
ADD AN EXTRA PERSON TO FULL DAY GUIDED EXPERIENCES FOR $125.
Maximize your experience with a Full Day trip! This 8 hour adventure allows you to work the river and unlock its secrets in search of massive Brown Trout. In addition to all the equipment included in the half day trip, you will also enjoy a stream side gourmet lunch. These are great trips to really hone your technique and build your skill.
While out on the stream we are pleased to brew uniquely roasted beans from St. Albert’s River Bend Roasters. This small batch, hand roasted, locally roasted coffee is sure to add to the experience!

BOOKING AND CANCELLATION POLICY
Booking Policy: A 50% deposit is due at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due the day of your trip. Payment can be made by etransfer or by credit card or debit at Reid’s Fly Shop. You may elect to pay a 50% deposit or the full trip amount upon booking.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations with less than 48 hours of trip date will result in a forfeiture of deposit if a reschedule date cannot be agreed upon. We understand that circumstances may arise that necessitate a change in trip date and will always work with you to find a reschedule date. Cancellations by the guide due to weather, river conditions, or other circumstances will be refunded in full or rescheduled with no penalty. Cancellations due to river conditions or weather are exclusively at the guide’s discretion.
