Steven craig – owner

Steven Craig has been fly fishing in Alberta and British Columbia for more than 30 years.  He is well known for his patience and expertise for tracking down amazing fishing. He has guided and fished the waters of Central and Southern Alberta for the past 20 years.  He also guided for Steelhead on Vancouver Island on the Cowichan and Nitinat Rivers for 10 years.

Steven is well versed in a variety of different fly fishing techniques and his patience and understanding of these areas allow him to coach and develop the skills of the novice to experienced angler.  His experience and knowledge of the natural flora and fauna of the area allow him to match the hatch with a high degree of skill.

Steven has hosted a variety of different tying evenings both online in person and has a demonstrated ability to teach in a way that make complex tasks seem easy and straightforward.  His understanding of materials and the way that they move in the water allow him to pick the perfect fly for the environmental conditions to maximize the chances of getting a bite.

Steven has been involved in the outdoor industry his entire life from Ski and Hiking Guiding to avalanche control and educating in mountain rescue and Avalanche safety.  He has a background and love of the outdoors, looking for opportunities to get out and do new things whenever the chance presents itself.

HENRY LONG – Guide – whitecourt

Henry has fly fished all over western Canada and the USA. He is our Arctic Grayling guide on the rivers and streams around Whitecourt Alberta. He has a passion for the outdoors and for fly fishing which is evident as soon as you meet him. Henry is a welcome addition to the Classic Fly Fishing Adventures guide team. Lyndon Earl – RAM River

Lyndon Earl has been fishing Ram River for over 30 years, he has an excellent understanding of the hatch patterns that occur on this waterway and has built incredible skill in making sure that the right fly is on the end of your line for your presentation. He is a cutthroat dry fly specialist and will work with you to build your skill in hooking up with these amazing fish! His in depth knowledge of this waterway will be sure to give you lots of insight into reading the water and understanding where to place your fly to maximize responses. Lyndon has guided hunters and anglers in Alberta and Pincher Creek for the past 10 years and has built a strong following. He is known as a conscientious angler who always follows ethical handling and other practices both on and off the water. His passion for the sport is contagious and he is always willing to share his knowledge and expertise in order to help those who have the opportunity to fish with him to improve their technique.
